Sustainable Living Summer Institute

Change the world! This Sustainable Living Institute provides hands-on experience at the Saint Mary’s College on-campus Sustainable Farm. Participants will learn about the environment and real world application of sustainable practices. Imagine the next generation knowing the steps toward a greener future. Saint Mary's environmental studies professors are experts in botany, biology, and bees, and will guide participants through the week. Students will take a field trip to a local urban garden, participate in a cooking demonstration with seasonal herbs and produce, and will walk the historic trails on campus learning how to work with and respect the environment. Participants will experience life on a college campus and will create friendships that will last all summer long.
