SUMMER MUSIC CAMP (BAND, COLOR GUARD, DRUM MAJOR, PERCUSSION)

Students can choose from focused tracks of High School Band, Junior High Band, Color Guard, Drum Major and Marching Percussion. Join dozens of fellow musicians in grades 7 to 12 from across the United States at the music camp that has served as a model for similar programs nationwide: the Southern Illinois University Summer Music Camp. Refine your musical skills during daily rehearsals, master classes and concerts. Our dedicated counseling staff is hand-selected from outstanding future music educators at SIU, as well as practicing public school music teachers. Counselors supervise all student activities during and after the rehearsal/class day, including supervision in the dormitories. They are available throughout the duration of the camp, and can assist with any special student needs.
