Mystery Spy & Detective Camp is an immersive, hands-on adventure where campers become junior detectives and undercover agents for the week. Each day, campers will work in age-appropriate teams to crack codes, analyze evidence, and solve exciting mysteries. Activities include fingerprinting, secret messages, disguise challenges, scavenger hunts, surveillance games, and logic puzzles—all designed to build critical thinking, teamwork, and confidence while having a blast. Campers will sharpen their observation skills, learn how to think like real detectives, and complete daily “missions” that lead up to a final Case Closed! celebration at the end of the week. Younger campers are guided through playful investigations, while older campers tackle more advanced puzzles and problem-solving challenges. Perfect for curious minds, imaginative thinkers, and kids who love a good mystery, this camp combines creativity, STEM-based thinking, and high-energy fun in a safe, supportive environment.

More than just an egg drop and slime party, our campers experience real scientific demonstrations and come away with a little more understanding about how their world works and the importance of critical thinking! This camp is the ultimate playground for kids who dream of altering and enhancing their Minecraft worlds. Ninjas will transform Minecraft Java Edition into a personalized adventure by harnessing the power of MCreator to craft their own incredible mods. They'll create custom elements like ore, blocks, ingot, crafting recipes, weapons, armor, potions, custom biomes... the list goes on. And yes, it even includes nuclear TNT! Ninjas will also get hands-on experience with Blockbench and learn how to code procedures in MCreator with block language. Time to turn those modding visions into reality!

We will focus on levers, pulleys, gears, inclined planes, and energy transfer. Campers will explore pulleys, levers, and ramps. Older campers will create rubber band-powered vehicles, build cranes, and more!

Mad Science of St. Louis camps at Crestwood Community Center invite children ages 5–12 to dive into science through exciting, hands-on experiments and adventures led by energetic, trained instructors. Campers explore a variety of fun science themes — from rockets, robots, chemistry, and space to nature, inventions, and detective-style experiments — in a setting designed for curiosity and discovery. By the end of this thrilling week, their creations will come to life with projects like a moving carousel and speedy cars. Through playful learning and creative problem-solving, they'll conquer design challenges as they dream up and refine their own projects.
