Economics for Leaders Virtual is designed to give promising students the skills to be effective leaders and employ economic analysis when considering difficult public policy choices. This course is centered on introducing and applying economic concepts and reasoning skills while also familiarizing students with leadership theory.

Participants learn how a rational approach to environmental issues helps develop a better understanding of the complexity of these matters and how they may possibly be solved. Throughout the residential program, they engage in exercises that build confidence in evaluating practical, solution focused approaches to environmental problems.

Camp is designed for students in grades seven-12, and provides many performing and educational opportunities. Campers can register to participate in band, choir, and/or orchestra, and we offer classes in music theory, music technology, world music, music history, rock and roll music, conducting, piano classes and jazz improvisation.

If your idea of summer fun is a deep-dive into the STEM fields, join other rising 9th and 10th grade students who are as passionate about advancing their knowledge of the STEM disciplines as you are for two weeks of hands-on team research projects, experiments and design-build challenges. You’ll choose from a range of interesting and engaging courses in the STEM disciplines. Each course combines rigorous academic content, laboratory or field exercises and a research project or design challenge that serves as a focus for academic work. You may also have the opportunity to engage with Brown graduate students and learn about graduate-level research projects. To complete the STEM experience, you’ll give a final presentation that showcases your project for your peers, families and instructors. Project SELECT is a week-long science and engineering camp that's exclusively for students during the summers after their freshman or sophomore years of high school. In Project SELECT, you'll build on your existing science and mathematics knowledge as you connect it to modern engineering applications, get hands-on experience working with Rose-Hulman professors to explore how science can be applied to solve difficult problems, and you'll test your designs using state-of-the-art equipment.

The Middle School Summer Music Academy is an opportunity for talented band and orchestra students from Colorado and around the country to receive world-class music instruction in a one-week summer session. Band and orchestra participants will be placed into a concert band or string orchestra with a nationally renowned conductor. When not in rehearsal, you can expect exciting games and activities throughout the week geared toward teamwork, creative and critical thinking ... and fun. A few activities from previous years included skit night, the Amazing Race and visiting Fiske Planetarium on campus.
