Each week, students will dive into a new challenge, from programming robots like Sphero, Ozobots, and Dash & Dot to building and experimenting with LEGO Robotics. They'll explore the wonders of electronics with Makey Makey, creating unique projects that blend coding, creativity, and engineering.

This course is for the absolute beginner, who most likely has had no prior exposure to coding. No prior coding experience is required but basic QWERTY keyboarding skills are helpful. The goal of this camp is to use game play to motivate the value of students acquiring basic coding skills, to develop a foundational familiarity with the JavaScript language, build an understanding of gaming logic and architecture involving game engines, and play the games!

From the earliest flying machines to the first rocket flights, this week long, hands-on program will give children a bird's eye view of the history and science of flight. Your child will build many different flying devices and explore the science of aerodynamics and flight with the help of Newton's laws. We don't stop there, though, because we're heading out of the atmosphere with a look at rockets and our Galactic neighborhood! Note: Your child will bring home a working model rocket.
