The Acting workshop, we will learn about the different visual languages we use with our face, emotions, and body posture. From these, we will try different improv scenarios at random, and see how easy it is to ‘get into ‘character’ and tap into our creative expression.

This class will teach the fundamentals of theatre to children ages 13-18 years old. They will learn concepts such as projection, audition skills, improvisation, memorization, performing in front of peers, diction, confidence, teamwork, characterization, and so much more. We will spend class time learning these foundational concepts concurrent with rehearsals for the show in which this class will culminate. Students will benefit from this class through not only all of the skills they will obtain in relation to theatre, but also, real life interactions, empathy, and collaboration. (Ages 13-18)
