Mix and Createology Camp provides all sorts of fun, learning activities for all ages. Campers will be able to mix and create their own creations from buttercream, to royal icing to cakes and cookies. Campers will use their math skills while measuring and formulating and their art skills while decorating. Projects will focus on a variety of themes while including a variety of ingredients from chocolate to marshmallows to fondant and rice krispies. Campers will come home with their own simple recipe book to impress you at home!

Come learn and have fun in the kitchen. We will learn about food and then go into the kitchen and experience first hand how to make what we learned about. Each day will be a different topic.

Get creative with cooking! Participants will be placed into teams and each day will start with a basic recipe. From there, teams will get to choose additional ingredients to make the dish their own! Of course we will have to leave time for teams to try each other’s food and declare a winning dish.

If you’re tired of eating the same pizza rolls day after day this camp is for you! Let’s learn some simple and some not so simple small serving foods that you can enjoy anytime!

Executive Chef Scott Phillips '88 teaches all the basics of cooking and guides campers in the preparation of appetizers, salad, an entrée, and dessert. At the end of the week, campers will prepare a four-course meal to serve to their parents. Bon appetit!
