Junior Academy of Science members are 6th – 12th grade public, private, and home school students from the Greater St. Louis Region. Generous community support provides many special events and hands-on workshops in many areas of interest, including medicine, computers, robotics, ecology, and zoology. Membership in this elite program entitles you to the following benefits: Participation in members-only scientific events, E-news with advanced registration for teen events! Opportunities to hone scientific skills in Academy-sponsored science challenge contests. Meet other students interested in science from all over the Metro St. Louis area! Programs are generally held after school and on weekends on varying days of the week. Students can attend events that are of interest to them and fit into their schedule, and are not expected to attend every event. Events are generally 1.5 hours long, and parents not required to attend in person events.
